• To maintain league operations including rosters, schedules, standings, and statistics.
• To enforce community standards, including investigating rule violations and issuing sanctions when necessary.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, ban evasion, or multi-accounting.
• To improve platform performance and optimize features such as server selection recommendations.
• To communicate important league updates, decisions, or account notices.

Specifically:

• IP addresses are stored in a cryptographically hashed format, meaning the raw IP address is not directly readable by staff or third parties.
• Hashed IP data may be used to enforce IP-based bans against users who have been removed from the platform for rule violations.
• IP geolocation data (derived from your IP address) may be used to suggest the most appropriate in-game server region (e.g., NAE, NAC, NAW) to improve your gameplay experience.
• We do not sell or share raw IP data with any third parties outside of legal obligations.

Gamertags (PSN, Xbox, Discord) provided during registration or account setup are used to:

• Link your account to your league player profile and team roster.
• Display your identity publicly within the platform (rosters, stats, news feed).
• Verify your eligibility to participate in the league via external services such as Exophase.
• Cross-reference accounts in the event of suspected ban evasion or multi-accounting investigations.

By providing your gamertag, you consent to it being visible to other registered users of the platform. If you wish to update or remove your gamertag, you may do so via your Account Settings page.

We take data security seriously and implement the following measures:

• Sensitive identifiers such as IP addresses are stored using one-way cryptographic hashing.
• All platform data is stored on secured, access-controlled infrastructure.
• Only authorized administrators have access to backend data and logs.
• We do not store payment information directly — any subscription or payment services are handled by trusted third-party processors.

While we implement industry-standard security practices, no system is completely immune to breaches. In the event of a data incident, we will notify affected users as appropriate.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the platform. If you wish to request deletion of your account and associated data, please contact us directly.

Note that certain records (e.g., game statistics, ban logs) may be retained for league integrity purposes even after account deletion. Retained records are anonymized or minimized wherever possible.

EASHL Hub integrates with the following third-party services that may handle some of your data:

• Discord: Used for account linking and community communication.
• Exophase: Used to verify gaming account ownership and game eligibility.
• EA Sports API: Used to retrieve in-game match statistics.
