The eHockey Open League (EOL) is a competitive Bring Your Own Team league. There are no assigned franchises, bidding, salaries, or drafts.
Create your own team, build your roster, and compete under your own identity.
Team Building
- •12 players minimum
- •16 players maximum
- •Create your own team name, logo & identity
- •Bring your own group of players
- •Teams must be approved before competing
- •Players may only play for one EOL team at a time
- •Players without a team can enter Free Agency
- •Teams can sign available Free Agents
Roster Moves
Teams control their own rosters throughout the season.
Game Nights
Games are played at
Teams play a best-of-3 series each night — first to 2 wins takes the series (can end in 2 games).
* Game 3 only played if needed
Standings are series-based
Win the series 2-1 → your record for the night is 1-0
Points System
1 pt per series win · +1 bonus for a 2-0 sweep
Sweep = 2 pts · 2-1 win = 1 pt · Loss = 0 pts
Competition
Every EOL team receives its own team page with schedules, results, rosters, standings, and player statistics.
Compete through the regular season, qualify for the playoffs, and play for the eHockey Open League Championship.
Promotion & Relegation
At the end of each season, the bottom 2 Pro teams in the standings drop down to Amateur for the next season.
The top 2 Amateur teams get pulled up to Pro, giving teams a chance to always get into the Pro league.
Cross Play
Every Monday the leagues cross play — Amateur and Pro teams face off against each other.
